Microsoft exam 70-742, Identity with Windows Server 2016, was one of the three exams for the MCSA: Windows Server 2016 certification. Microsoft retired it on 31 January 2021 along with the other MCSA, MCSD and MCSE exams. Active Directory skills remain central to most Windows networks.
