Terms of Service

These terms apply when you buy or use a course from StemBoss Academy at stembossacademy.com. StemBoss Academy is operated by AlphaMax Digital Services Ltd. By placing an order you agree to them. They do not affect your legal rights as a consumer.

1. Who we are

StemBoss Academy is a trading name of AlphaMax Digital Services Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15537984). In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean AlphaMax Digital Services Ltd trading as StemBoss Academy.

2. What you are buying

  • A licence to access self-paced online video training, practice questions and related materials for your own personal learning.
  • Courses are delivered through our learning platform at learn.stembossacademy.com. Course content is supplied by our training content partner.
  • Single courses, career bundles and training series give access for the period shown on the course page at the time you buy.
  • Courses help you prepare for certification exams. Exam vouchers and exam fees are not included unless the course page says so. Exams are booked and paid for directly with the certification body or its test provider.
  • We do not guarantee that you will pass an exam or get a job. Results depend on your own study and the exam provider.

3. Prices and payment

  • Prices are shown in US dollars (USD), British pounds (GBP) or Nigerian naira (NGN). We choose the currency from your location. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
  • Card payments in USD and GBP are processed by Stripe through WooPayments. Payments in NGN are processed by Paystack. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Your bank may charge its own fees for payments in a foreign currency.
  • If a price on the site is clearly wrong because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

4. Getting access

After your payment is confirmed we create or update your learner account and send login details to the email address you gave at checkout. If you have not received them within 24 hours, check your spam folder, then contact us.

5. Your account and fair use

  • Your access is for one person. Do not share your login, resell access, or record, copy, download or redistribute course content.
  • Keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • We may suspend access if an account is shared or used to copy content. Where we do this we will tell you why.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Our Refund Policy explains your 14-day refund promise and your legal right to cancel. It forms part of these terms.

7. Course changes

Certification bodies update their exams. We and our content partner may update, replace or retire a course so it stays current. If a course you bought is withdrawn during your access period, we will offer you a comparable course or a fair refund for the unused period.

8. Certificates

When you complete a course you can download a StemBoss Academy Certificate of Completion. This is not an official certification from CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, ISC2, ISACA, PMI or any other certification body. Those are only awarded by passing their exams.

9. Trademarks

CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, ISC2, ISACA, PMI and other names used on this site are trademarks of their owners. We use them only to describe the exams our courses help you prepare for. We are not endorsed by or affiliated with these organisations unless we say so.

10. Our responsibility to you

If we fail to meet these terms we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure, up to the amount you paid for the course concerned. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses such as lost profit or lost opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

11. Affiliates

If you join our affiliate programme, the affiliate terms shown when you register also apply.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force when you placed your order applies to that order.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in another country, you keep any mandatory consumer protections of the place you live. If you have a problem, contact us first so we can try to fix it.
