About the XK0-004 exam
XK0-004 was the CompTIA Linux+ exam that checked your skills in hardware and system setup, day-to-day system operation, security, troubleshooting, and automation and scripting. CompTIA issues Linux+ as a vendor-neutral credential, so the skills apply across Linux distributions.
CompTIA has since released newer versions of Linux+, and the current exam code is XK0-006. The core admin skills in this course still apply, but check the CompTIA website for the live exam before you book.
